DESCRIPTION:Join the East Dearborn Downtown Develoment Authority for the f
 irst annual Juneteenth Mobility Stroll & Roll!\n\nAs part of our Homage to
  Black Excellence programming\, this event is an inclusive celebration of 
 Juneteenth and the date of Emancipation that enabled African Americans to 
 move freely through the country. In honor of this date and the freedom it 
 represents\, we will stroll and roll our way from Dearborn to the border o
 f  Detroit and back. A broad range of transportation modes that represent 
 the current ways that we connect with one another and the broader communit
 y will include bikes\, skateboards\, roller skates\, scooters\, hybrid bus
 es and walking.\n\nThe route will begin at Michigan Avenue and Schaefer an
 d end at City Hall Park. Several stops are planned along the route. The St
 roll and Roll will also have an array of fun activities geared toward all 
 ages including a Kid’s Zone and a vendor area as part of the attractions.\
 n\nA kickoff program will commence at 9 AM with dignitary speakers\, music
 \, and a stretching session to get the crowd ready to roll! The Roll & Str
 oll will start at 10 AM.
