DESCRIPTION:<p>A successfully designed library benefits users the most thr
 ough visualization and creativity. This webinar will cover two related top
 ics: User experience design focuses on the user perspective first. Empathi
 c design takes a user-centered approach with special attention to ensuring
  empathy and compassion toward the users. Combining user experience (UX) a
 nd empathic design calls librarians to analyze what users need\, then crea
 te spaces\, services\, and programs with empathy and purpose. During this 
 session\, you will learn how to see your library through the eyes of other
 s. This understanding will help ensure that your organization is prepared

 rarian and Associate Professor at Azusa Pacific University (APU). Her role
  is dedicated to the user experience\, including marketing the library\, a
 nd teaching. She has extensive experience teaching online courses in desig
 n and library science. Jennifer holds a B.A. in Graphic Design\, an M.A in
  Educational Multimedia\, and an M.S. in Library and Information Studies. 
 Her experience in academic and public libraries as well as work experience
  in art and design allow her to employ visionary strategies to enrich prog
 ress and enhance advancement for students.</p>\n<p><strong>Library Works</
