 cal artists\, including pianist\, vocalist\, and songwriter Bob Mervak.</p
 >\n<p>Mervak has been an active member of the Detroit music scene for near
 ly three decades. His unique style encompasses pop and jazz\, rootsy indy 
 original songs and Ben Folds-esque intelligent\, introspective\, and unapo
 logetic compositions. Bob has been a session musician\, writer\, and arran
 ger on many varied record releases over the years. He was the main compose
 r for fellow Michigander Dax Shepard&rsquo\;s motion picture Hit and Run a
 s well as Shepard&rsquo\;s podcast Armchair Expert\, and he was featured a
 s a pianist and vocalist in George Clooney&rsquo\;s political drama The Id
 es of March.</p>
