  Alan Turing\, professor\nof mathematics at Cambridge and his team at Blet
 chley Park north of London broke\nthe code early and provided Churchill an
 d the allied Commanders with intercepted\nmessages from the Germans.  Expe
 rts forecasted that this code breaking with this\nnew technology saved the
  lives over 2 million soldiers and citizens and reduced the\nwar by 2-3 ye
