ng>What is Flash Fiction/Non-Fiction?
\n
&nbsp\;
\n
Fla
sh Fiction/Non-Fiction is more than a just a shorter short story. When wri
ting flash\, keep these guidelines in mind:
\n
&nbsp\;
\n
\n
Flash fiction usually focuses on 1 or 2
 CHARACTERS.
\n
Flash fiction should focus on <str
ong>1 MOMENT or SITUATION. Think minutes
 instead of days\, weeks\, or months.
\n
Don&rsquo\;t try
to cram an entire short story into a flash piece. It won&rsquo\;t work
\n
Avoid excessive backstory or exposition. Jump right in!
\n
