DESCRIPTION:<p>Move over Appy Hour\, it's time for the DigiLit series! An 
 (optional) 3 week series that focuses on digital literacy...aka\, teaching
  patrons valuable skills in using information technologies such as web bro
 wsers\, email\, the library catalog\, apps\, and so much more.</p>\n<p>You
  do NOT have to attend all 3 weeks\, as each week will cover a different t
 opic. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\;\">Please bring any passwo
 rds you may need\, as well as your own device and library card</span>. No 
 registration required.</p>\n<p>Week 1 - 8/7/24 -<strong> Devices</strong>.
  While GPPL are not personal device experts\, we will try to show you basi
 c features of common devices like phones\, laptops\, etc... to help you be
 tter adapt to your own device.</p>\n<p>Week 2 - 8/14/24 - <strong>Internet
  Basics. </strong>We'll discuss using the internet\, search engines\, and 
 email.</p>\n<p>Week 3 - 8/21/24 - <strong>Appy Hour</strong>. Learn about 
 Libby\, Hoopla\, Kanopy and all the ways you can read\, listen\, and watch
  from home.</p>
