DESCRIPTION:<p>One in six people get sick from foodborne illness in the Un
 ited States each year and infants\, toddlers\, and young children are amon
 g the most at risk.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Learn what the best practices are for f
 ood safety to help keep kids safe.</p>\n<p>Safe Food = Healthy Kids is an 
 interactive food safety workshop for childcare providers delivered by MSU 
 Extension educators. Topics include cleaning and sanitizing\, cooking and 
 storing food as well as common allergens and personal hygiene. The Safe Fo
 od = Healthy Kids class counts toward annual training hours for licensed c
 hildcare providers. This workshop is an approved training of&nbsp\;<br />G
 reat Start to Quality. Additional food safety resources are provided.&nbsp
