We are sorry to share with you that artist and friend of th e library\, Patricia Medvecky\, passed away in late 2025. We are honored t o have hosted several of her art shows at our library over the years. &nbs p\;Friends of Pat have decided to have one last show in tribute to her. Fo r the month of April\, her artwork will be on exhibit at the library. The work that is on exhibit will be sold through a silent auction with all pro ceeds going to benefit the Library. Winners of the silent auction will be contacted on April 30.
\nAs Pat has shared during her shows\, she &l dquo\;always had more than a casual interest in the arts\, including great works but as life began to wind down\, she decided to try creating some o f her own. You will find that most of her paintings are centered around fl owers. She chose watercolor as her primary medium because she loved the fr eshness\, spontaneity\, and delicate luminous color which is ideal for flo wer painting. Watercolors allowed her to &lsquo\;capture the delicacy\, st urdiness\, and sheer beauty of one of nature&rsquo\;s most exquisite subje cts.&rsquo\;
