DESCRIPTION:<p>In this 4-week computer class\, participants will learn com
 puter\, Internet\, search tool\, and basic email concepts. Topics include:
  using a mouse\, opening and closing windows\, going to websites\, navigat
 ing a website\, using the online Library catalog\, using google.com\, as w
 ell as sending\, replying to\, and deleting emails.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<
 ul>\n<li>Week 1 - January 7: Intro to Computers\n<ul>\n<li>Learn basic com
 puter terminology.</li>\n<li>Understand the mouse and its functions.</li>\
 n<li>Perform basic computer tasks such as opening\, closing\, and scrollin
 g in windows.</li>\n<li>Familiarize yourself with a keyboard.</li>\n<li>Ga
 in an understanding of the various ways to shut down a computer.</li>\n</u
 l>\n</li>\n<li>Week 2 - January 14: Internet Basics\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about
  the Internet and the World Wide Web and become familiar with terminology.
 </li>\n<li>Master basic skills to effectively access and navigate websites
 .</li>\n<li>Explore the Oak Creek Public Library&rsquo\;s website and acce
 ss information.</li>\n<li>Explore the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel website a
 nd access information.</li>\n<li>Access an online map through Google Maps 
 and get directions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Week 3 - January 21: Intro to 
 Internet Search Tools\n<ul>\n<li>Locate library materials using CountyCat\
 , the online Milwaukee County Library system catalog.</li>\n<li>Become fam
 iliar with CountyCat features for limiting searches and reserving library 
 materials.</li>\n<li>Perform queries in search engines and learn effective
  strategies for obtaining more accurate search results.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>
 \n<li>Week 4 - January 28: Email Basics\n<ul>\n<li>Learn about email and o
 ther forms of online communication.</li>\n<li>Compose\, send\, and reply t
 o messages.</li>\n<li>Learn how to upload and open attachments.</li>\n<li>
