\nWhat's spectacular about it? Well\, first of all\, SEPTEMBER&
nbsp\;is \;LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH\, and that's worth
celebrating! Secondly\, and perhaps more importantly\, we'll be offering
a free cookie or coffee to the first 50 people (aged 5+) who come into the
library to either sign up for a card or renew their current card!

br />This is the best time of year to find out about all the treasures tha
t your library card can unlock for you\, from books and movies to audioboo
ks and streaming films. And our Saturday Sign-Up: SPECTACULAR is
a day to stop in\, get connected\, and start discovering everything your l
ibrary card can do\, because you'll also be able to enjoy a complimentary
treat from Detroit Cookie Co. OR Cafe at Moto.&nb

The \;Sign-Up: SPECTACULAR \;starts
at 12:00 pm on Sat.\, Sept 12. Cookies and coffee will be available on a
first-come\, first-served basis while supplies last. \;

Ages 18+ must present a valid Driver's Licens
e or State ID with proof of Ferndale residence\; ages 5-17 must have a par
ent/caretaker or legal guardian present. You can also apply for a card if
