DESCRIPTION:<p>Gather a team and test your knowledge of the American Revol
 ution. Historical interpreter and local resident\, Matthew Weigman\, will 
 serve as our emcee. There will be a prize for the winning individual/team 
 in addition to bragging rights. Extra points for dressing in period attire
 ...&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>A Putnam County resident since 1987\, Matthew Weigman h
 as had an interest in American history since the age of sixteen. His 32-ye
 ar-career in communications at the auction house Sotheby&rsquo\;s conclude
 d with nine years as Worldwide Director of Sales Communications\, based in
  London.</p>\n<p>As a historical interpreter at Washington&rsquo\;s Headqu
 arters Newburgh for the past four and a half years Matthew has enjoyed ill
 uminating visitors and audiences about the significant achievements of the
  &ldquo\;indispensable man&rdquo\; of the American Revolution during its f
 inal sixteen months\, as well as lecturing about the era of the Revolution
  itself.</p>\n<p>To satisfy an interest in horticulture Matthew volunteers
  as a Master Gardener with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Putnam County\
 ; acts as Honorary President of the Philipstown Garden Club\; and writes r
 egularly for the Garden Club of America magazine Bulletin. He also lecture
 s in historical horticulture.</p>
