DESCRIPTION:Is ART your child's thing? Explore this fun nature camp where 
 Painting and Drawing will serve as our main focus of the week! We will be 
 learning about color theory\, mixing paints\, the importance of contrast a
 nd 'sweet spots' of our compositions. Our young artists will be venturing 
 outdoors to sketch in the wilderness and then bring these ideas inside in 
 order to paint up a masterpiece! We will also inspect the interesting pain
 ting styles of Henri Rousseau\, Paul Cezanne and contemporary painter\, Ya
 yoi Kusama to emulating their styles for a unique expression of art. Acryl
 ics\, Watercolors and Graphite will be the mediums of this creative aftern
 oon experience. A Gallery Show of our students work will follow class on t
 he final day. Taught by Artist/Instructor Pamela Palmer owner of The Artis
 t's Apprentice. Ages 7 & up (As always\, siblings of any age may register)
