  10 at 2pm. in the Jones Meeting Room to learn about Iron Mountain Stonewa
 re.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Nancy Patterson Lamb is the co-founder 
 of Iron Mountain Stoneware. Iron Mountain\, once located in Laurel Bloomer
 y\, Tennessee\, produced handmade stone dinnerware from 1965 until its clo
 sure in 1992. After three decades of production and three decades since Ir
 on Mountain's closure\, Lamb and her fellow artists' uniquely Appalachian 
 dinnerware is still revered as mastery of the craft.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>\n
 <p>Before opening Iron Mountain Stoneware\, Lamb traveled throughout Asia\
 , the Middle East\, and Europe learning and teaching international methods
  of her craft. In recent years\, she has compiled these stories and experi
 ences into a book\, <em>A Journey with Clay</em>.</p>
