DESCRIPTION:<p>This photography exhibition of Celebrities and Notables is 
 representative of numerous assignments Michael had been entrusted with ver
 y early in his New York City freelance career photographing famous celebri
 ties and outstanding notables in other important fields. This is the first
  time nearly all of the photos in the show have ever been seen before. <br
  /><br />Michael Gold's career included photography assignments for many p
 ublications including The New York Times Magazine\, Opera News\, Esquire\,
  Fortune\, and the National Lampoon. Michael Gold is also the author of nu
 merous books including <em>Seaweed Dinosaurs &amp\; Other Odd Seaweed Crea
 tures\,</em> <em>Raining delusions: A Catskills Novel</em>\, <em>Campaign 
 Companion</em>\, and <em>Modern American Manners</em>.&nbsp\;</p>
