DESCRIPTION:<p>Still Building Pride: What Pride Looks Like in Community is
  an art-centered gathering that explores how pride is built\, expressed\, 
 and sustained through connection\, creativity\, and shared space.</p>\n<p>
 The exhibition features Man in the City&ndash\;inspired canvases created b
 y community members and artists. Visitors of all ages are invited to parti
 cipate in a hands on playful and accessible introduction to Sauv&eacute\;'
 s iconic figure and its creative possibilities.</p>\n<p>The event will tak
 e place in the Pittman-Puckett Gallery\, which honors the memory of commun
 ity members Susan Pittman and Christine Puckett and showcases work by loca
 lly based LGBTQ+ artists.</p>\n<p>Opening remarks will be delivered by Jos
 h Puckett at 2:00 PM\, followed by an introduction of Affirmations&rsquo\;
  Gallery Liaison\, Light Amor\, light refreshments\, and art making.</p>\n
 <p>This event is open to the public. Art will be available for purchase fo
 llowing the opening remarks and throughout the entire month.</p>\n<p>There
  is no cost to attend\, and donations are always accepted.</p>
