 important role wetlands play in protecting water quality\, reducing floodi
 ng\, supporting wildlife habitat\, and maintaining healthy ecosystems. Thi
 s educational program will explore wetland ecology\, the relationships bet
 ween native plants and their environment\, and the impacts invasive specie
 s can have on local landscapes.</p>\n<p>Participants will also learn about
  common wild plants that can be responsibly harvested during late summer\,
  including species typically available in August and September. Gain pract
 ical knowledge about plant identification\, ecological stewardship\, and t
 he benefits of native plant communities.</p>\n<p>Whether you're interested
  in conservation\, native plants\, foraging\, or simply learning more abou
 t the natural world around you\, this program offers a great opportunity t
