 ill be parked in the library's parking lot from 4-7 pm on Thursday\, June 
 10th.\nSmokey Joe’s BBQ began as a conversation between Joe and Gillian (J
 ill) Wilson about entering a BBQ competition in 2016. At the time this con
 test was the largest amateur rib cook-off in the state of Michigan hosted 
 by the Oakland County Parks. The couple took first place at the competitio
 n in Lathrup Village and the rest is history.\nIn 2017\, the husband and w
 ife team decided to have a food truck built along with a custom reverse fl
 ow smoker. This unique smoker along with the low and slow process gives Sm
 okey Joe’s its reputation of southern style BBQ.\n\nEveryone is welcome!\n
 *We have asked the food truck to come prepared and allow time for setup. T
 his will help with wait times and long lines. Official serving time starts
  at 4:00 pm.
